Anthony Duclair is still trying to find a groove with the San Jose Sharks but there’s little question he left a positive impression on his former coach with the Florida Panthers.Duclair spent most of the 2022-2023 season with the Panthers on long-term injured reserve as he recovered from a torn Achilles. After he returned to the active roster in March following the trade deadline, Duclair had nine points in 20 regular season games before he became a significant part of Florida’s run to the Stanley Cup Final.Duclair, acquired by the Sharks from Florida in July, was still around the Panthers after his injury, which took place during 2022 off-season training and required surgery. Now, as Duclair and the Sharks visit the Panthers for their game on Tuesday, his upbeat outlook, not to mention his production, was appreciated.“Big smile. We loved having him around there,” said Panthers bench boss Paul Maurice of Duclair, who he coached for one season. “There are guys that get in...Motorcyclist killed in East San Jose crash; man suspected of drunken driving arrested
