WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) -The Justice Department is celebrating a historic crackdown on the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.Binance has agreed to pay a roughly $4 billion settlement, and its founder and CEO, Changpeng Zhao, has pleaded guilty to a felony and resigned.Attorney General Merrick Garland says that's the standard companies must meet if they want to do business in the U.S. and he says the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange failed to do it. (KTXL) — As Thanksgiving approaches, utility officials are reminding people some meals will produce substances that shouldn’t be poured down the kitchen sink.Sacramento's Department of Utilities said large amounts of fats, oils and grease can be produced while preparing turkeys and hams. NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – All four international border crossings between the United States and Canada in Western New York were closed Wednesday due to a “vehicle explosion” at the Rainbow Bridge.CBS News reports two people were killed in the incident. Citing a senior U.S. official, CBS added a car traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a pylon at the bridge crossing, which was followed by the explosion. AUSTIN (KXAN) — STAR Flight is responding to the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in west Austin Wednesday afternoon.Medics from Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the crash around 1:20 p.m. on W. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A 23-year-old from North Adams was sentenced to three-and-a-half to four years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges. According to the police, Johnson was identified as a suspect during an investigation into drug dealing in North Adams in 2019. He was arrested on November 1, 2019, on an outstanding warrant. During the arrest, officers seized 75 grams of cocaine, 726 heroin baggies, empty baggies, and $3,530 in cash.Police also seized a cell phone that belonged to Johnson containing messages about a drug operation and the types of drugs he was selling. ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Three people are behind bars after they allegedly stole several items from a family's car in St. Louis and used those items to attempt a break-in later at a St. Charles home. St. Charles County prosecutors have charged Keyuanna Dyson, 21, Darrius Anderson, 21, and Lamarco Anderson, 22, in connection with the investigation. All three face felony charges for attempted burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle. Investigators say a stolen key fob, garage door opener, and several pieces of mail led the three suspects and one juvenile to the home. According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, these were stolen from an undisclosed location in the City of St. Louis on Nov. 18.
