Authorities looking into whether car seen on surveillance video has connection to LASD deputy’s death  Police are investigating security footage that may provide information on the suspect or suspects responsible for the ambush murder of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer. Deputy Clinkunbroomer was found unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds in his squad car near the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue Q around 6 p.m. Saturday by a civilian who noticed his car sitting in the street. He was rushed to the Antelope Valley Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries. A large procession made its way from Lancaster to the Coroner's office in Boyle Heights early Sunday morning to honor the fallen deputy, who got engaged to his fiancée just four days before his death. Oakland PD investigating shooting of two victims on Sunday  (KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department is investigating a shooting of two victims on Sunday. The shooting occurred in the 900 block of 63rd Street around 12:00 a.m. According to Oakland police, ShotSpotter activation alerted officers to the area, where they located a victim who sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital by paramedic personnel. The victim is in stable condition.  Oakland mother killed after being struck by stray bullet while asleep The second victim who also sustained at least one gunshot wound arrived at an area hospital and is listed in stable condition, police say. This is an ongoing investigation. If you have information regarding this case, contact the Oakland Police Department Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426.
